I’m so very sorry, and so amazed at this story of selflessness. I can’t even imagine what the families are going through at this time. I have no words, none at all. I can just pray.

i am so sorry for your loss. i am praying for each of you who loved him….his wife and kids. his parents. chad. my heart breaks for him so much. i pray that he only feel comfort and peace during this time. i will pray for each of you as you grieve someone so close to you. right now…he sees your little boy and i hope that brings some comfort in your loss. heaven’s gain.

I’m so sorry. I was reading the updates and hadn’t seen this. Praying for that family and yours. He gave his life for his brother. How amazing.
I’ve been following this story through the caring-bridge site and through your updates. It’s one of those events that even though I have no connection to those involved, I can’t get it out of my mind. No words, but praying.
