Life and death are a razor’s edge. This knowledge does not make me an expert, but it is something familiar to me and this page will reflect posts on the subject. My prayer in sharing my journey through grief is anyone reading will be comforted and filled with hope.
Grief and loss are something we all experience here on Earth. I used to fear death, as well as try to avoid pain at all costs. Having walked through the loss of a child, recently losing my Mom who was my spiritual mentor and biggest cheerleader (6/2014), as well as other family members and friends, the fear of death no longer tangles me. Now I trust God’s undying love and ability to see the bigger picture in the process. I don’t have it all figured out, but pain and suffering are two things I’ve embraced because in walking through them, I am learning to live life to the fullest. One. Day. At. A. Time.
